+1 I just found incorrect geo-tag for my test observation in Australia, but there doesn't seem to be a way to edit the tag. Massive gap. Every single field of a record should be editable.

How do you edit it? One by one? Um, I don't think that would work when you are dealing with hundreds of species. Have you actually tried this? Bird Journal need a way to upload a taxonomy. Give us the columns needed. I'd love a list for my state, and there are a number online. How do I get them into Bird Journal?

Concur. This would be extremely useful. All the bird guides follow this model.

Yes, summaries by taxonomies at the least should have summary pages.

I concur. There are a lot of things in the app that aren't clear. For example, what is the difference between a checklist and a taxonomy? I can guess, but shouldn't having a taxonomy automatically generate a checklist? And what is the data form? If the user can't create or modify any of these, what is the point of exposing them to us?

This is something we’re considering. For technical reasons we’d need to hold a copy of your eBird/BirdTrack password to make this possible.
Is that something you’d be comfortable with?
It’s obviously not ideal, but we’d make sure everything is fully secure.

Is this not a feature already?
This would be a fantastic marketing mechanism. Every tween and FB post could have Bird Journal in the signature. Get the word out!
