Fine-tune scrolling when using a wheel-mouse
In BJ5 beta, scrolling using the mouse wheel currently does not work ideally, in that a single nudge of the wheel scrolls the content too much. In the date picker, for example, if I have all of August 2015 displayed then I scroll down one click/nudge so I can make an entry for the first week of September, it scrolls too far and I can only see Sept 13-Oct 24. I have to use arrow keys to scroll back up to the first 2 weeks of September. Similarly, in when there's a scrolling list such as a checklist, scrolling the wheel by a single click/nudge tends to make pretty much the whole visible area scroll up, when it would be more appropriate for just 3-10 lines to scroll up, as it would in, say, a browser

Hi Justin - you're absolutely right that it is possible to change the number of "line" that each click of the wheel represents; that's available in Control Panel | Mouse | Wheel (tab). I am pretty sure that I had not changed that from the default, however, which was 3 lines. So the concern would be that other users with default settings might experience the same as me. The good news is that changing it to 2 lines did improve scrolling in the BJ5 calendar so that it scrolled back by 1 entire month. So that fixes my problem; I'm still not sure how many (if any) others may experience the same. If they do, at least we know now how to fix it!.

Hi Edward,
I'm not seeing the wheel move so far here. I did a quick check and I suspect it may be possible to configure the distance the mouse wheel scrolls.
Please take a look at "To change how the mouse wheel works" section here: http://windows.microsoft.com/en-gb/windows/change-mouse-settings#1TC=windows-7
I didn't have any such options, but perhaps you do?

Sorry for the late reply. This is on Windows. I misspoke slightly in my original comment; it's actually even harder than that to select a recent past date in BJ5... If I start a new entry, the date field appropriately defaults to Feb 18. Clicking the dropdown displays the calendar for the full month of February. But let's say I want to create an entry for Jan 31. Using cursor keys doesn't actually work to move up a few rows to January. And if I use the mouse wheel instead to scroll up, the calendar display jumps directly to show Dec 13-Jan 23. The only way to select a date in the Jan 24-31 range is to select a different date such as Jan 23 and then manually edit it

Thank you Edward. Is this on Mac or Windows?
