Create a Web version

Now that the data is centralised, a web version should be possible. I guess the pricing model may need to change to a subscription one or maybe make it a cut down version available to people with the desktop version?

    It’s tempting to do this as we’d be able to almost completely reuse the work we’ve already done and it adds a new way to access Bird Journal.

    It’s still a reasonable amount of work however and would significantly increase our maintenance and running costs.

    I expect we’ll do this at some point, but now is not the right time so for visibility I’m removing the planned status.

        As a Mac user running Snow Leopard on an older iMac that cant be updated to a newer operating system, I hope it wont be long before the promised Web version of Bird Journal will be launched.

        A web version would be good. I am still on an iPad 1 so I cannot get the mobile app. A web version would solve that problem.
