A bulk update would have some advantages providing exact matches only are involved. Where the Latin name has changed between taxonomies or other variations occur it would be better if these could be done separately as now.
HOWEVER - currently if making multiple changes you have to keep reopening the necessary dialogue boxes - can it be left open ready for another change only closing when user is done?
If not, is there a hot key combination to allow faster input?ALSO - it would be easier for the user to be able to utilise the Enter or Return keys rather than have to navigate with the mouse to put the cursor on the replace and OK buttons for every item changed.

As a standard default "1" is far more logical & would allow faster input
What you record as a count of "0"?
