When listing I always use the ABA 4-letter species codes. It would be awesome to be able to view birds in a grid based on the codes. So the screen would look something like this:

ABTO ACFL ACWO AKOH ALFL
ALTE ALHU ALOR AMAV AMBI
AMBD AMCO AMCR AMDI AMFL
AMGP AMGO AMOY AMPI AMRE
etc.

This would allow you to see way more species on a single screen and would make selecting species by scrolling faster and easier. Anyway, have a grid option combined with adding the ability to view synonym packs (making codes available) in the mobile app would be nice. Loading synonym packs into the mobile app would also speed up entering by search.
