iOS App
Allow ability to dig down into filtered searches in app and give correct number of sightings of species based on the filter) (eg show the correct number of sightings of species 'A' in location 'B' [not the total number worldwide] and allow drill down to see detail of the sightings of Species A at Location B.)

Thanks Mark, makes sense. We're hoping we can bring the desktop/web interface to the mobile apps too. That would then bring this feature to the mobile apps and a lot more besides.

Justin - you are right but finding “blackcap” involves flicking down through the Species list until you spot that species. It’s not as straightforward as it could be. Could this search be “typable” so I could start typing b-l-a-c etc and the species would eventually pop up? Similarly if searching for all the species seen at a particular site start typing the name of the site/country etc.

You can filter in the mobile apps too. You can filter e.g. the entries screen to 2020 Blackcap. I suspect that would give you what you're looking for?

Is it possible to make the app more drillable? I heard a blackcap today at home - first for 2021. Other than going back into every one of the entries in the app, there is no way of finding the equivalent blackcap dates in previous years. I think (?)
