Not quite sure I follow Trevor. When adding a photo to an observation it shows up:
- Next to the observation
- For the species of the observation
- For the location the entry was made

What behavior would you like if different from the above?

The problem with that is that the photo is "attached/linked" to the species for that entry only. When I next observe that bird, if a want a photo of the species, then I have to attach it for that entry. And so on for the next entry.

If the photo (a general photo of the bird) was "attached/linked" to the species then every time I observe that bird the bird's photo would appear with the observation in the day's entry. This would be of interest to others interested in my observations for that day.

If I take a particular photo of the bird on that day and also want to include it for the bird's observation in the entry I can, using the app provided.

It's possible to add photos to observations already using the desktop apps.

This would (hopefully) allow the species photograph to displayed in each entry where the bird is sighted.
