Oceans of World added as Parent Location
As a cruiser I have records of many seabird species from Antarctica to Arctic. Having Ocean as Parent it would be easier to place eg Bering Sea in Pacific.

Being able to add isolated islands such as Ascenion Is. would be a great asset to 'global' birders

Oceans cover nearly 70% of the earths surface, critical to the environment and contain nearly 300 species of bird, yet Ocean is not a parent location. An Ocean does not belong to any one country!
Many birds are truly pelagic and do not have a location other than at sea!
The only time they come ashore is to raise the next generation.
For those who are fortunate to work the oceans or take a sea voyage it is difficult to locate a sighting.
Ocean should be a parent location as much as the Americas or Africa.
This will assist those scientific bodies who wish to gather as much information about our oceans and the life they support.
