I have thousands of records, how reliable is Bird Journal?

Reliability comes down to how many places your records exist in, and the answer is several.

A full copy lives on each device you have the app installed on. Separately, every change is synced to our systems as you make it — or as soon as you have a connection, if you were offline when you made it. On our side there are two copies of your latest data and multiple historical backups.

So no single failure — a lost phone, a dead hard disk, even us having a bad day — puts your records at risk.

Our systems and apps are used by thousands of people every day, and we take a good deal of care over quality. If something does look wrong, tell us rather than working around it: we would much rather know.
