Family subscriptions

Others in your household can have Bird Journal Premium at half price, using a discount code built from your email address.

Updated

If somebody else in your household wants Bird Journal Premium, they can have it at half price. Everyone keeps their own account and their own records — this is about the price, not about sharing a journal.

They subscribe from our website as normal, entering their own email address as the account to upgrade, and then enter a discount code of the word family followed by your email address — so if your address were john@smith.com, the code is family john@smith.com.

For the code to be accepted, the account at your address needs a premium subscription that was paid for — bought from us, bought through the App Store or Google Play, or granted by a gift voucher.

If it comes back as not valid, the two usual causes are:

  • The address is not quite right. It has to be exactly the one your premium account uses.
  • Your premium is a free trial, or a month earned by referring somebody. Those do not carry the discount; a paid subscription does.
Did this not answer it? We are a small family business and we read every email ourselves.
